It's fairly common in early game terminals, and you can find its ammo in a lot of chests. Mossberg 590: It's a high-damage shotgun that can insta-kill most enemies at short range. You can also find it in a secret room on level 4. Make sure to find chests to get more ammo for it. It's also surprisingly good against the small spiders, since if you can stick one of them with a flare it can take out the whole swarm. It is slow due to its single shot capacity. The flares' explosion has a short delay, so if there are enemies approaching you can shoot a flare in front of them. The flares stick to enemies before exploding and insta-killing most of them. Flare Gun: This is one of my personal favorites. Overall a great gun, but I usually have something else by the mid-game. However, fewer terminals sell its ammo in later levels. Its mag capacity is small but that's not too much of an issue due to its quick reload. Desert Eagle: This is a very good all-around gun that deals high damage and kills most enemies in two hits. It's good for the small spiders because of its wide swing, and it doesn't use up ammo. It's decent for some encounters early on, but later in the game, melee enemies will appear with higher damage like the robots. Knife: To my knowledge the only usable melee weapon in ZT2. Its only real advantage is its decent 16-round mag. It can be decent if you aim for headshots, but you should switch it out as soon as possible. In 1996, Toon Boom purchased the software development business of USAnimation studio.-Walther P99: The first gun you get, and also the worst due to its low damage and slow firing. Its animation production services were to be merged into CST Entertainment according to a premature press release from CST. That merger never took place, and USAnimation's studio changed its name to VirtualMagic Animation in 1996 and operated independently. Toon Boom Animation continued the development of USAnimation software which became Toon Boom Opus.
